The NCFE Accredited YMTB - Skills for Life Competence Award is offered through our Charitable Status Organisation NCLP - The Nationwide Community Learning Partnership.
'Young Mums To Be’ has now been significantly updated and, while the name of the certificate remains 'YMTB - Skills for Life Competence', the course is now 'father friendly' having introduced a new case study, Ben and a wealth of additional information to support young dads and partners. The new 'Young Mums and Dads To Be' pack remains gender sensitive and focuses on learning for pregnant teenagers but the additional material gives support and guidance to young dads and partners including them in the whole experience of pregnancy. In future the new pack will be referred to as YMTB.
We are also delighted to announce that the new pack, now available, is UNICEF UK - Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI) approved therefore ensuring that Midwives and BFI projects can continue to work with our programmes.
